AUDIO-VISUAL AND MICROFORM COLLECTION

Audio visual materials and microform can be used by readers to obtain required information. At present the entire audio-visual and microforms collection consists a large number of materials.

The collection is divided as follows:

• Government publications of Sri Lanka
• Bibliographies of some of the National Libraries in the Asia Pacific region
• International Standard Serial Numbering (ISSN) register
• Microfilms
• Theses and dissertations on Sri Lanka
• Some of the National Newspapers
• Audio-cassettes
• Video tapes
• CDs and DVDs
• Gramophone records of Sri Lankan songs, documentaries, plays and teledramas
