NLDSB is the National Agency in Sri Lanka for ISBN, ISSN and ISMN International Standard Numbering Systems.
Providing of Cataloguing-In-Publication (CIP) data commenced in 1996 with the objective of improving cataloguing activities in libraries and creating an uniformity in the publishing field.
The Publication Assistance Project sponsored by the NLDSB with the objective of making available specific category publications and encouraging authors in the relevant field.
The purchasing of new publication project sponsored by the NLDSB with the objective of encouraging and motivate junior/ senior authors for book publishing.
The NLDSB has started this project in order to recommend suitable books for libraries.
